Dr. Diane Menago is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Newtown Therapy and Wellness Center and an Assistant Professor and Clinical Mental Health advisor in the Graduate Counseling Psychology program at Holy Family University. She holds a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from LaSalle University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Lock Haven University in Special Education and a Master’s in Human Services Psychology from LaSalle University.

Dr. Menago is a member of the Psi Chi Honors Society in Psychology, American Psychological Association (APA), Division 12, Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA), and The Association for Behavior and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT). Dr. Menago has presented in the area of mindfulness-based practices at local and national conferences (see conferences below). She has also presented extensively in the area of integrating mental health and the school system for the Department of Education throughout locations in the state (please see workshops listed below)

Dr. Menago did her pre-doctoral work at local mental health agencies gaining experience in working with individuals who are experiencing chronic mental health issues (depression, anxiety, stress).

Dr. Menago completed her Doctoral Internship at Devereux Foundation working with children and families in therapeutic foster care in Philadelphia and trauma focused worked in Collegeville. During her training, Dr. Menago completed a grant with the Department of Children and Youth Services in Philadelphia assessing a Parent Education Program designed to educate parents who were working towards reunification of their family.

She did her Post-Doctoral Internship at T.L.C. Associates in Newtown, Pennsylvania and completed training to work with individuals with eating disorders.

Dr. Menago treats from a holistic model with a cognitive-behavioral focus, having been trained in a variety of cognitive behavioral therapies that include: trauma focused, dialectical and behavioral, mindfulness and stress management. Dr. Menago is skilled in the integration of complementary and alternative medicines collaborating with other disciplines such as acupuncture, meditation, yoga and other bodywork providers to facilitate treatment and the connection between mind and body to promote health and wellness.
