Nutritional Services

Weight Loss / General Nutrition

Brittany’s nutrition philosophy is the simpler, the better. She keeps eating healthy simple because it does not have to be complicated. She believes in evidence based nutrition therapy and facts, not trending diets, fads or food myths, to help direct individuals to accomplish their health and life goals. Brittany recognizes that everyone has different health goals and caters to an individual’s specific needs in order for them to lead a healthy lifestyle. Whether it be weight loss, weight gain, sports nutrition, diabetic or cardiovascular nutritional needs, Brittany will guide you to practical interventions to see the results you desire while also providing you with lifelong skills that will forever change the way you look at food.

Cardiovascular Nutrition

Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in America and diet can be a friend or foe when it comes to your heart health. Atherosclerosis, high cholesterol, hyperlipidemia, hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases can all become increasingly dangerous to your health if not recognized and treated through lifestyle change. Through nutrition education and a realistic food plan, Brittany will help give you the power as you learn to use food as a medicine to improve the signs and symptoms of these diseases permanently.

Diabetes Management

A diagnosis of diabetes can be life altering and overwhelming for an individual. Medical Nutrition Therapy provided by a Registered Dietitian is recognized by the American Diabetic Association to be critical factor in maintaining glucose levels, preventing the onset of and preventing complications arising from diabetes. Brittany can help you better understand your body and teach you how to regulate your glucose levels by developing a personalized food plan to fit your lifestyle.  She can provide you with the tools you need through nutrition education so you can control your diabetes and your life.

Eating Disorders

Nutrition therapy is an integral part of the eating disorder (ED) treatment and recovery process.  The primary role of nutrition therapy is to assist patients in normalizing their eating patterns. Normalized eating encompasses eating adequately to meet the body’s daily nutritional needs, a balanced and sustainable relationship with food, free from negative or distorted thoughts about oneself, and listening to and trusting your body’s internal cues to determine hunger and fullness
