Zehavit Kabak is currently a practicing clinician completing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). Zehavit holds a B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University in Psychology and Social Sciences and works as a clinician at Lenape Valley Foundation offering services to children, adolescents, and adults. She works with various diagnoses, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, grief, trauma, childhood disorders, and parent management training. Zehavit collaborates with Dr. Stacy Hunt in treatment of children and teens diagnosed with PANS/PANDAS.
Zehavit believes that therapy is most effective when a strong therapeutic alliance is established and maintained between the clinician and client. She strongly values the importance of trust, comfort, and open communication within the session. Zehavit approaches therapy through a Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) lens and often incorporates aspects of mindfulness, Dialectical-Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy, and stress management skills.
Zehavit has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents and enjoys giving her clients the opportunity to work through problems and develop positive coping skills.
Zehavit’s fee is $90 per session.
