Psychological testing and assessment for ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a comprehensive and specialized process aimed at understanding the cognitive and behavioral functioning of individuals suspected of having ADHD.
This evaluation involves a battery of standardized tests and clinical interviews conducted by trained school and clinical psychologists. These assessments explore various aspects of attention, executive functions, memory, and other cognitive domains to uncover any underlying neurobiological factors contributing to ADHD symptoms.
The results of these assessments help in formulating a diagnosis, determining the severity of ADHD symptoms, and tailoring appropriate treatment plans, which may include medication, therapy, or educational interventions, to better support individuals with ADHD in managing their symptoms and achieving their full potential.
Newtown ADHD Center offers a variety of services, beyond testing and assessment, that can be selected a la carte style. Individualized programs can be developed by your provider, based on our “E3IQ” curriculum.
This unique curriculum, developed by the providers at the Newtown ADHD Center, draws on combined decades of education and clinical experience working with individuals with ADHD and their support systems. Lessons and exercises are relevant to the unique strengths and needs of clients with ADHD, and they teach accessible and applicable skills and strategies for encouraging success.
