If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed or like the systems you’ve tried just aren’t working, you’re not alone. Alyssa is here to help you make sense of things, one step at a time. Whether you’re navigating ADHD, autism, grief, anxiety, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, she creates a space where you can feel safe, understood, and supported.
Alyssa works with children, teens, adults, and couples who are looking to better understand their emotions, develop effective coping skills, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. She recognizes that every person is unique, and therapy should be too. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Alyssa tailors treatment to each individual’s strengths, needs, and goals. Her style is warm, genuine, and collaborative, helping clients build resilience, self-awareness, and confidence in their own abilities.
Alyssa has a special passion for working with neurodivergent individuals and has extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and couples with ADHD and autism. She believes every person deserves to be understood, respected, and empowered with practical tools that foster independence, emotional well-being, and confidence in everyday life.
Alyssa earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and holds bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Autism Behavioral Studies from Saint Joseph’s University. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and incorporates evidence-based strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to meet each client’s unique needs. Alyssa is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP).
Above all, Alyssa believes that meaningful therapy is built on a trusting partnership. Her goal is to create an environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to make lasting, meaningful changes while embracing who they are.
