Stephani is a licensed professional counselor who helps clients find calm, clarity, and real coping skills. Whether you're child with “big feelings”, a parent navigating challenging behaviors, a teen struggling with anxiety, or an adult feeling weighed down and burnt-out by life's demands, she provides a supportive, judgment-free space where we can work through what's keeping you stuck and build practical skills that actually fit your life.
Steph works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional and behavioral challenges, relationship concerns, life transitions, substance use, and issues related to gender identity and sexual orientation. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and straightforward. She brings compassion, humor, and a down-to-earth style that makes growth feel both doable and deeply human. A mom herself, she brings an added layer of empathy and understanding to her work with families and parents. She believes therapy should feel like a conversation, not a lecture, and together can focus on creating meaningful, lasting change.
Steph primarily uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients better understand their emotions, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping. Every person is different, so she tailors treatment to meet your individual needs, goals, and strengths.
As both a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist, she also incorporates creative and body-based interventions when they're helpful, recognizing that healing doesn't always happen through words alone. Before entering private practice, she earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rider University. She completed her clinical training at Princeton House Behavioral Health, where she worked with children, adolescents, and adults across inpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs. These experiences continue to shape her work with clients facing a wide range of mental health concerns.
Reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, but you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. Her goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered as you work toward the goals you want. She looks forward to connecting with you!
