Zehavit is a Master’s level therapist and holds her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). She has a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and provides therapy to adolescents (14+) and adults across a range of concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, grief, trauma, and life transitions.
Zehavit especially enjoys working with new moms and mothers of young toddlers, offering a supportive and compassionate space as they navigate the emotional shifts of early motherhood, changes in identity, parenting stress, and the everyday demands of life with a young child. She also has a special interest in working with teens (14+) and young adults, particularly high school and college-aged clients as they manage academic pressure, social relationships, identity development, and emotional regulation.
Zehavit’s approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. She works with clients to identify unhelpful patterns, build effective coping strategies, and develop sustainable skills that support meaningful, lasting change. Her goal is to help clients feel more grounded, confident, and supported as they move through life’s challenges.
She believes the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective therapy and prioritizes genuine rapport, open communication, and emotional safety so clients feel truly heard, understood, and empowered throughout the process.
Zehavit is conversational in Russian and Hebrew and is mindful of the role culture and background can play in shaping a person’s mental health and healing journey.
