School Accomodations Evaluation

NTWC also offers evaluations for school accommodations related to mental health disorders (i.e. anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder). A letter can be written and signed by a licensed psychologist to endorse your child’s need for accommodations, such as extended time for assignments and/or tests, individualized due dates, receiving visual aids, etc. In combination with other documentation, this letter may be sufficient to also endorse recommendations for standardized testing. Please refer to your institution’s requirements for documentation to determine if this type of letter will suffice. The specific recommended accommodations will be tailored to the child’s needs and be based on results of valid and reliable measures of DSM-5 mental health diagnoses and diagnostic interviewing. The fee for this evaluation is $500 and includes a parent clinical interview, a child clinical/diagnostic interview, assessments aimed to measure DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, as well as a signed letter describing results of testing and recommended accommodations.
