Dr. Meghan Devine is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at Newtown Therapy and Wellness Center. She holds a Psy.D. in School Psychology from St. John’s University in Queens, New York. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s degree in School Psychology from St. John’s University. While completing her doctoral degree at St. John’s University, she also completed coursework and fieldwork in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Dr. Devine is a Certified ADHD Professionals (ADHD-CCSP).

Dr. Devine specializes in working with children, teens, and young adults who are experiencing challenges related to anxiety, disruptive behavior disorders, depression, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Executive Functioning, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), and parent training. She has additional experience in treating clients with trauma histories and gender identity concerns. Dr. Devine is trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In addition to psychotherapy, Dr. Devine provides comprehensive psycho-educational and diagnostic evaluations.

Dr. Devine is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA). She has co-authored academic book chapters, presented at a national conference, and participated in research projects focused on Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD).

Dr. Devine completed her Doctoral Internship at Bridge Kids of New York (Bridge Psychology and Speech Therapy, PLLC and Kids of New York Applied Behavior Analysis, PLLC) in New York, New York, where she provided ABA therapy and completed comprehensive psychological evaluations and functional behavior assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and related developmental disabilities. Dr. Devine held pre-doctoral practicum placements at MercyFirst Residential Treatment Facility, Syosset, NY; Valley Stream School District, Valley Stream, NY; Center for Psychological Services, Jamaica, NY.
